Would like to request Earth spins a little slower, time is passing too fast. Was fully intending to visit GARY on his boat on the Ashby canal this weekend, however, it appears to be nearly Wednesday and I have done no such thing yet. The weekend was spent hurtling around the countryside looking at plots of woodland for sale and getting bitten by horseflies! Was v.impressed with gigantic muscles that had formed on back of my arm until realised they itched and perhaps were just insect bites. Sending off cheque for Ben Law permaculture course for September! Hooray. Sort of teetering on edge of new project with woodland for sale research, have vision of future where am able to make beautiful things out of wood have tended. Vision is some way off and a little blurry (in manner of looking at something without glasses on), however, it is a vision nonetheless (nevertheless?). Will still live on boat for as long as we can get away with it - once offspring become too large to house, and will certainly be sticking to this part of Warwickshire as Rick is really enjoying his job. Has possibility of being v.exciting however, trying not to get too carried away as chicks not hatched by any means.
Drinking lovely scrummy cherry vodka made only a couple of weeks ago with wild cherries next to canal. Ummed and erred over purchasing of brandy and opted for interesting Finnish vodka - is roaring success and cherries saturated in vodka icing on cake. Making plans for sloe gin and blackberry vodka. Elderflower champagne also worked a treat and was delicious. Have done 4 jars of gooseberry and nigella seed chutney and courgette chutney. What with plums and cherries ripe and bucket loads of gooseberries at allotment have not had to pay for fruit for a couple of weeks now!

all sounds very exciting indeed, do keep us posted.
just been working my friends on 'Kingsfisher' up the Hanwell locks - apparently my ears should have been burning when Richard met them on the Saltisford arm... ;-)
The man with the control pad in the middle of the earth should press slow down.
